Debra Martin Jones
Debra Martin Jones, 61, died Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids.
Debra was born in Northampton County, February 20, 1957, daughter of the late Claude and Josie Baugham Martin. Her family was her life and she loved her husband, sons, sisters, grandchildren, nieces and nephews with a passion. In addition to her parents, Debra was preceded in death by her first husband, Gary Outland; sister, Virginia Martin Rose; and her brother, Thomas Earl Martin.
Surviving are her husband, Ronnie Jones; sons, Phillip Outland and special friend, Nikki Chappell, and Jonathan Outland and wife, Candace; stepson, Ronnie C. Jones, Jr. and wife, Diane; stepdaughter, Candie Caine and husband Tim; grandchildren, Gary Outland, Christian Outland, Caleb Outland, Kaleb Hall and Lila Mae Outland; step-grandchildren, Wyatt, Aubrey and Ella Caine; sisters, Annie Martin Best and husband, Malcolm, Judy Martin Taylor and husband, Chris, and Phyllis Martin White and husband, Ed. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Askew Funeral Service- Jackson Chapel in Jackson, NC on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Pastor Rex Evans will conducta funeral services on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at Freedom Freewill Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Potecasi Baptist Church Cemetery.
